Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definately return. It would be good to see the hotel rooms repainted to enhance the furnishings once more, although this is a small criticism of a pretty, comfortable and laid back establishment. (99006925)

The furnishings were very nice and I liked the period features. The gardens were pretty and it was an extremely quiet, relaxing place.

I feel that the hotel could now do with a lick of paint and this would improve the accommodation immensely.

The hotel seemed to have a lot of potential that was not being capitalised on. we had a lovely time but it was unfortunate that there were not any other guests. (99696931)

The four-poster bed and jacuzzi bath were lovely touches.

There was no proper reception (i.e. desk) and the restaurant and bar were closed in the evening which was unexpected and disappointing.

Currenty the hotel is not providing evening meals, but I think they will be in future when more accommodation is provided. (99889161)

Located in a quiet rural area & not 'run of the mill'.

No shower, only hand held type, but ceiling angle probably prohibits installation of a shower.

The room was large and it had a lovely view.

The carpet needed a clean and black bits came out of the taps when the hot water was turned on. There were only two small milks available.We were advised that it was best not to use the shower. There was a smell of drains in the bathroom.

Our stay was incredibly pleasant. The room was amazing with everything in perfect working order and presented beautifully. We were welcomed to help ourselves to anything we wanted and did so without hesitation. We each received excellent service and were made to feel very comfortable. I would definitely like another stay like this one and would not change a single thing. (3304695218)
