Overall it was a very good experience and have absolutely not complaints. I did however shop around to get a good deal on the room and am talking based on the price paid. I would not have wanted to pay the rrp that the hotel asks for esp since I travel a lot. (99990706)

The hotel is very well located - in the heart of the city, and in walking distance from all the main tourist attractions. Recently refurbished, it is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway (as this was our case), or for a holiday. The staff is very friendly, and their recommandations (from restaurants to festival events) were great. Both the restaurant and bar stay open relatively late, which is a plus. The rooms are large, and nicely furnished. I loved our staying there and will return. (3305145432)

Location

Quality of the room furnishings and bedding, and ability for climate control without opening windows. The Saturday night I stayed over was the worst sleep ever. I have stayed in many hotels close to clubs and bars, but because of the location of my room it was like I had several drunk partiers in my room with me until 4am. NOT a pleasant experience.

Location

I know that the hotel is about to undergo a refurbishment programme. The bedrooms, in particular, are very dated. The bathroom smelled of dampness on arrival, which is not something I have come across in a 4 star hotel before.
