The decor. There were plenty of socket outlets by the mirror for hairstyling equipment.

The slippery floor in the bathroom and lack of a decent light by which to apply makeup.

Well run and comfortable hotel but troubled by antisocial golfers . Care the Brasserie which is ok for breakfast but has the ambiance of a works canteen ; making it unsuitable for dinner unless you are on a shoestring budget . The food was good though . The Camelot Restaurant is to be recommended . Very friendly and efficient service and delicious food and wine. A proper restaurant. (3304755241)

Nice position . Friendly service . comfortable hotel . 20 mins from Colchester Croquet Club .

Golfers arriving at 0700 in the morning and parking up against the hotel did cause a disturbance and seemed to be oblivious to those hotel guests who may still be in bed.Those that parked accross the road caused no problem.
