We stayed at this Hotel (for one night) on our journey out and then four days later (for one night) on our return. The Hotel was reasonable for a one night stay in each direction.

Relaxed and friendly owners and staff who were happy to assist when needed. Beds were very comfortable. The food was good and reasonably priced. The situation of the Hotel and views from the rear were excellent.

The WC, hand basin and and shower cubicle were in a very small enclosed space with little room to manoeuvre. The floorboards were very noisy and need attention.

Highly recommended - would stay there again.

A fantastic place to stay. The view from our rear bedroom was amazing. There is a resident Old English Sheepdog - beautiful & placid animal who acts as though it is the proprietor. Good value meals at the bar. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Lived up to its claim - we saw the red kites! A delightful scene from the breakfast room with two red kites flying around.
Restaurant very good standard and good value.

Good position for all local attractions and walking. Would be an excellent place to stay for mountain bikers to use Nant yr Arian centre trails and you can watch the Red Kites being fed.The walking there is also excellent. Bedrooms redecorated nicely and bedding and towels were good. The en-suite was adequate but needs up dating. We could eat in the bar or dining room and the prices were very reasonable and food fresh cooked with local specialities. A nice laid back attitude. The sign said they hoped you would leave as a friend, and we certainly felt like that after 2 days.

The accommodation was fair and very clean but let down by the poor state of the carpet on the stairs, the poor quality of the curtains in the bedroom and please get rid of that carpet in the bathroom. The pub was very friendly and warm and the food was adequate.

The friendliness of the Staff

The worn carpets on the stairs, the poor quality curtains in the bedroom and the carpet in the bathroom
