First of all your website offers a half bottle of wine with your meal to which I never received. I stayed the first week there for 5 days and received 2 1/2 bottles of wine. The following week one night nothing. When I came to discuss this with your receptionist, I was charged for the wine to which I never received it and she asked who had served me in the restaurant to which I did not know. When I discussed this with her she was adamant that it must stay on the bill, even though I never received it. I find this quite in poor taste and in future I will not be recommending your hotel to my colleagues.

All of the corridors were smelly and the carpets were dirty and taped up. The shower in the room was also smelly and totally inadequate for a 6 foot 2 man. The chair in the room had awful stains and the bedding was a basic sheet of a poor standard. The windows were filthy. The cleanliness was not of a high standard. The flooring in the bathroom was coming away.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. We had booked for 3 days but moved after just one night. The receptionist didn't seem surprised we wanted to cancel the second and third nights booking. Probably it is a regular occurance. Do not expect anything at all from staying here other than a dirty, smelly and tiny room. The room didn't only stink of tobacco despite a non smoking room being booked but it also had a strong a suspicious smell of a different type of smoked substance!! (107127194)

Nice location

Filthy room, smelly corridors, insects in room, no clean towels. Filthy and insect infested windows that didn't lock.

Room was fair, but the Hotel could do with a make over. Pleasant view over the river from the room. Eay access into the town.

Very noisey guests coming in at 2 O'clock in the morning banging doors and shouting for an hour.

we have never stayed in the area before and its a lovely place hotel offers a nice menu fairly priced nice food there is a friendly bar upstairs nice view from hotel rooms. i would consider staying again but would insist on a better room as i dont think the one we were in is a reflection on the hotel as a whole (99124767)

the patio door would not shut it was very cold in the room also the bathroom smelt awful reported these to reception immedietly on arrival asked to be moved but told there were no more rooms was promised someone would come to sort problems but no one did its a shame cause only for the room it might have been a pleasent stay
