Clean and well lit room. Breakfast was resonable

Parking at the Hotel was very cramped it looked like it shared parking with a local company. Location of the reception when you have to walk up a badly light ramp to the Car Park to be identified before your let in to the hotel is a very bad idea. No access to Cold Water in our room and the Water cooler on our floor was also not providing cold water. Bedding was inadequate

Bed was very poor with almost every spring being felt. Parking was extremely limited.

Unfortunately it was not a very good experience as we were coming to a funeral, and the fact that you could not walk straight into the reception off the street was immediately off-putting. However once we got used to that, the slowness of the lifts, the noisiness throughout the night from other doors banging, it was not too bad. (97516728)

The reception staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very clean.

The room did not have a very 'friendly' feel, the fan was not working and the doors in the corridors banged when people came to bed all through the night so the name Big Sleep Hotel was not very apt. The lifts were very slow.

Wonderful hotel - fantastic location & great view. Staff extremely helpful when retrieving lost wallet from the Town.

Perhaps just me, but couldn't seem to get cold water out of the taps! Had to resort to water cooler next to the lift.

The hotel had a power cut the night that we stayed so we were unable to enjoy our stay properly. We were offered a refund and alternative accommodation or a discount and we chose the discount as it was late and all we wanted was to sleep. The staff were very helpful even though they had many difficult customers to deal with. Despite the problems experienced I would stay here again. (97187273)

The extremely friendly and helpful staff

Excellent location for downtown Cardiff, with huge rooms, although they're a bit minimalist in style. Panoramic views - windows stretch right along one wall - two if you get a corner room, as I did. No dining in hotel, but plenty of options nearby, and breakfast choice is good. Parking at the the hotel is limited, with pay options nearby quite expensive - so arrive early as it's first come, first served. (99068636)

Describing the breakfasts as continental scarcely does them justice. Many fancier hotels do not provide anything so good. Overheard one guest count the number of different cereals at 11. Canteen style promotes interaction between guests! (2431125)
