The room was very well laid out and had an easy to use safe (a rareity in hotels!!) and the bed was one of the comfiest i had ever stayed in. Much better than the hilton where the beds are like rocks.

Minor thing, perhaps the quilt could have been a little thicker.

Noise from other parties well into the night was somewhat disturbing but beyond the control of the owners. The Tara lodge offers affordable, clean accomodation, centrally located with secure car parking.

The room was clean and well presented. The breakfast was presented slightly different from a uusal ulster fry, being free from grease, dusted with pepper and adorned with chives. It looked appetising and was extremely tasty. The waiting staff were courteus without being over imposing.

The reception failed to give us directions to the room or inform us of pre-booking of breakfast times.

There is no Bar within the hotel but lots of excellent bars /restaurants within easy walk. I have NEVER bothered to complete a 'survey' of any hotel I have stayed in but the enjoyable experience I had at the Tara prompted me. The Breakfast alone is worth the very low overnight cost.

The hotel is well appointed for the night life, plenty of bars and restaurants within minutes of stepping out of hotel. The back street bars that we found were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and very welcoming. The breakfast menu has choices to suit all palates and is plentiful and well presented. The waiting staff are very professionaland give excellent service. Overall the hotel rates very highly as one of the best that we have stayed in in Norther Ireland
