The Millers at Glencot House more than lived up to it's reputation. The staff were charming, the food superb, the hotel and it's surroundings could not be faulted. Totally different from your average establishment. We shall return again. (108347186)
Fantastic, highly highly recommended (107703581)
lovely place to stay for a quiet break (107917252)
Very lovely but over priced in all aspects for what it was (107999468)
Delightful and unusual experience. Will definitely visit again. (107133755)
Loverly place to relax and unwind with friendly staff, unusuak surroundings throughly recommend it. (97760174)
I rarely spend the time to right these reviews, but Glencot thoroughly deserves every ounce of praise it can get. Everything about this hotel is perfection. The building and grounds are beautiful, the facilities are excellent (with a few extra suprises thrown in - like a private cinema and a resident singing Stag), and the geniune friendliness of everyone working there completes the perfect package. There is absolutely no question we will be going back (as soon as possible I hope!). If you want a truly original hotel with oodles of decadence and warm greetings, you will be hard pushed to find better. (97796857)

Interesting informal surroundings, pleasing staff, excellent food with good range of wines. Rooms clean and comfortable. Lovely soft bed (very unusual!)We experienced a shower problem which was more than compensated for and repaired quickly. (97250349)

I would stay again and I will try and stay in london with the version in Notting Hill Gate (97017139)
The grounds were lovely. Everything was great. (99122800)
This hotel feels like you are staying at someone's house (and someone who is a little eccentric and has travelled a lot)- there are piles of books everywhere, sofas, candles, more books, an amazing collection of ornaments and not forgetting the suit of armour in reception! The house and gardens are beautiful. (99075561)
While a beautiful and engaging accomodation, it was overpriced when it lacked simple utilities like access to hot shower. Disappointed with the result of what should have been a special overnight stay. (99403139)
If you are looking for a chance to step back in time and stay in a period mansion from yesteryear then this is the place. Our Four poster room overlooking the gardens was fantastic. Beautiful room and magnificent grounds. Quirky interiors and antiques. Great service from friendly staff We have both traveled the world and do not expect to be delighted because so often we are not. This one lived up to the description! (99877059)
In a word - superb ! Would like to keep Glencot House a secret ! (99368273)
I picked this hotel more or less at random looking for a venue for a short business meeting in the genral area. Its location is not obvious, and I appreciated the privacy and quality of the hotel. The staff were welcoming but not obtrusive. The restaurant was excellent, not over fussy food and the wine list was reasonably priced. A real gem! (99917011)

We loved this hotel. Can find nothing at all to fault the experience and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful . We have stayed in many other more expensive places but this beat the lot. (99061065)
