The service of the staff from the beginning was excellent, from Emy at reception, through to the chambermaids, the bar staff, and those who did none
stop work throughout the the wedding I thought they were all wonderful, the team obviously work well together and it shows and the service and the hospitality of the team was better than you would get in a 5 star hotel
(107969633)

Helpful, friendly service. Bar staff were great in their helfullness and recommendations. Room service (in the very early hours of the morning, were wonderful and helpful). Team spirit here is fantastic and totally refreshing, I think all the staff I met were genuinely friendly and think they should all be congratulated - well done.

Really nice hotel, couldn't fault it. There was a wedding on at the same time and we didn't hear a peep. The staff were quite nice - not incredibly pro-active when we asked to have a late check out, but in the end they came around (we were completing the MK half marathon.)
(97031274)

The room was very clean, had fresh white linen and was a good size.

Our room had a funny sort of view of only half the garden - not a dislike, just an observation.

Nice and cosy. There was some bothering noise one night

Apparently breakfast is not included in the booking. The price of the breakfast was 20 sterline pounds, which I find totally inadequate if you just fancy coffee and toast!

Fantastic location in central Milton Keynse

More coventional choice of food in resturant for evening meal at more normal price range needed. 'Nouvelle Cuisine' Food was very good though but would have preferred something more conventional.

Room 7, The bathroom are really nice, the lighting design is really nice done (even if the shower need more pressure)...
The Clean team always show up with a big smile, really enjoying to see in the morning

Slight mix up with booking - booked 3 doubles as no twin option on website - then had to phone to change one to a twin. when booking in they had changed 2 rooms to twin. But it was resolved and our stay was very pleasant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean, tidy and spacious rooms.

The hotel is set back in a lovely location with a very nice local pub at the end of the drive ! The decor was very comfortable and the rooms were very nicely presented with good quality furniture and lovely en-suite bathroom.
Breakfast, although a bit expensive, was fantastic, very good quality food was used with lots of choice to suit every taste. All staff were very helpful and accomodating, lovely place to stay.

easy to find, nice surroundings and buildings, check in was efficient. Paid for the upgraded room with bath rather than shower but only got a shower, which didn't work. mini bar fridge and heating wasn't working either. sheet on bed torn. in spite of this we enjoyed our stay, i think we were just unlucky. there was a wedding that night which we wasn't informed of when booking, which may have also been why the hotel was unable to place us in the correct room.

Directions to the hotel were a liitle tdifficult to follow. The room was comfortable and well equipped. It was clear that there was to be a big conference the following day with Worcester Bosch and staff were busy moving furniture about to prepare for this
Meal was good, although a little expensive.
Service was efficient, if a little cold.

I would have liked to have known that there was a wedding reception. Guests should always be given this information at the time of booking.
(99335102)

The room was excellent although it could have been improved if the bathroom door had been refurbished (old fittings one of which had dropped off and had been placed on a shelf). The staff were very friendly and helpful - particularly the receptionist. The layout of the room was good.

The shower was awkward to use - needed a Hans Grohe fitting where you simply dial the temperature and turn on the shower. There were also no forms for booking an early morning breakfast in the room.

Nice hotel, good service, but room was recently decorated and bathroom was excellent, however the hotel bar was full of smokers
and the costs are too high, i stay in a lot of hotels and i undertsand you are trying for higher end market however
the mk hotel i felt lacked the finish and atmosphere of quality
the staff were excelent, but the impression was expensive compared with teh Jurys in centre, which is clean modern, more style nice room and bathroom 30 pounds cheaper. The advert on the web promoted the broadband access, this agian was extra cost 10 pounds per 24hours, which i felt should have been included as a quality hotel.

We would like to have known that there was a wedding party booked in on the Saturday. Our room was directly over the bar area and the sound of raucous drunken singing was still very loud at 2.30am. Having chosen your hotel because we wanted a quieter atmosphere, it was disappointing that we found ourselves in the middle of such a party. There is no blame attached to the party guests - they clearly had a good time and the hotel bar takings must have been impressive. Nevertheless, we simply required a reasonable night's sleep. The staff did what they could to pacify us, including reducing the bill, but this does not make up for what we had hoped would be a relaxing stop over. Could we not have been advised there was a wedding party in? Or been offered a room that was not directly over the facilities?

The high standard of furnishings in the bedroom and the most helpful and smiling staff with whom we came into contact.
Steve from Nr Dorking, United Kingdom;GB (Solo business traveller) 14 November 2006
I made this booking based on the reputation of the Macdonalds Group of Hotels, but have to say I was very disappointed. For a room labelled 'Executive', this had to be the smallest most claustrophobic room I've ever stayed in. Unfortuantely, my experience was further aggrovated by lights that didn't work in the room. Although maintenance staff did recitfy the situation within an hour, surely service staff would have noticed this problem earlier? My room was, unfortuantely, situated next to a staff room and also above a corridor swing door. The staff appear incapable of closing doors quietly (or the doors aren't sufficiently dampned), which prevents you from enjoying a good nights sleep! Generally standard of decor good, staff farilly helpful and breakfast adequate.
(99381724)

Location. On-site free parking.

Very small room. Two out of three lights not working, but maintenance did rectify within an hour. Noisy staff throughout night - with much slamming of doors!
