Room was excellent and blackout linings meant that it was lovely and dark for sleeping. Bed was really comfortable and the shower was brilliant. Due to a lack of air conditioning, a fan was provided in the room which is a great idea!

Convenient location to the event I was attending. Good swimming pool. Comfortable bed. Close to retail parks. Easy access to the motorway.

The room had no A/C control and very small opening of the windows. My booking with Active hotels was not on the hotel's system and the receptionist was going to give me a standard room until I pointed out that I had booked a deluxe room. She expressed surprise that I had managed to book a deluxe room at such a cheap rate - she did make a bit of a song and dance about it.

As I was out most of the day and evening my stay really boils down to having a good nights sleep and a substantial breakfast - neither of which I have any complaints about. (107653100)

Hotel was overbooked, so I was called by manager asking if I would stay in another hotel. I arrived midnight, there was a que of people waiting and no receptionist. So I waited for at least half an hour to meet receptionist. I would apprieciate if next time you make sure you do not overbook your hotel. We have stayed at the hotel previosly and found it to be excellent, however we were less than impressed with the check in proecedure. We did arrive 1.00, which I appreciate was too early and were rightly told that our room wasn't available, but would be ready at 2.00. So we went to the bar to have something to eat. At 2.20 we then returned to reception, only to be told that our room would not be ready for a futher 30 mins. We therefore had to return to the bar, but as there was a football game on a 5.15, our seats had been taken so we had to stand. We returned at 3.00, at which time we were told our romm was ready, without so much as an apology. the saving grace was the fact that the room was excellent and we were eating out. (97545324)

The receptionist was polite on our arrival and our stay most enjoyable .My partner was 40yrs old and i had booked the over night stay as a suprize and the hotel staff upgraded us from a standard room to one of the penthouse suites which was really nice and a lovely thought on thier behalf.My only critisism would be the cost of alcholic beverages which were extremely expensive.On the whole our stay at the hotel was most enjoyable and would love to visit again. we were given a disabled room which looked onto the staircase so people could see in - it was very dark and dreary and one of the lights wasn't working

We had special football match tickets and thought we would stay at the hotel. An advanced booking - the price was very reasonable for the standard and included the hearty breakfast buffet. It was a clean and smart hotel with staff that were professional and helpful (no fake smiles made a nice change!) We spent an hour in the leisure club and the pool and sauna were great. I'd read complaints about the brasserie, but I enjoyed my fillet steak. No real complaints here and we'd like to come back. (97107020)

Overall a good hotel however if you want to visit the Premier function suite for an event when you are staying you have to walk outside. Okay in a balmy summers evening, not so good when your partner has a posh frock on and its raining heavily. Easy to find and park. Large hotel with lots of facilities

The room we had room 101 was next to the kitchen so there was lots of noise late on and early in the morning. Breakfast finishes at 10am on a Sunday which is a bit early. Check out is 11am which seems a little early.
