Extremely well-preserved, the 13th century turreted castle is surrounded on three sides by Lake Garda. As well as exploring the inside, you can climb the tower and savour the fantastic views across the lake and the town of Sirmione.

Navigazione Lago di Garda runs a ferry from Desenzano all the way to Riva del Garda on the north shore, stopping at various locations along the way.
