- Trulli houses, Alberobello (29.28 km) - The World Heritage listed Alberobello trulli houses are one of the most unusual sights in Italy. Made entirely of limestone, these intriguing cone-shaped houses are whitewashed every year by their inhabitants. Narrow streets and steep stairways wind around the astonishingly white houses and buildings in this quaint part of town which give rise to Ostuniâs nickname as the White City (Città Bianca). The whole of La Terra is surrounded by medieval walls and Ostuni Cathedral is situated right in the heart of the old town. It is a really stunning sight from afar and a great place to talk a relaxed walk around.
