- Aquafan Waterpark (28.21 km) - Riccione's Aquafan is the most famous waterpark in Europe. With the huge wave pool, children's pools, 8 waterslides ranging from tame to scary, rapids, foam pool, basketball and frisbee courts, Aquafan has something for all the family from June to September. During the day, entertainment is also laid on, but Aquafan is at its most vibrant in the evening, when the Walky Cup disco and outdoor dancing venue come alive. From 2005, you will also be able to visit Oltremare and the Imax Cinema, just down the road from Aquafan.
- Oltremare (28.21 km) - Oltremare is a theme park dedicated to all things related to the sea. The attractions include a large Dolphin Lagoon which is home to 9 dolphins, a reconstruction of the Po Delta habitat complete with wildlife and Pianeta Mare and Hippocampus, where you can see some extraordinary-looking seahorses close-up and even touch rays. There is also a section with farm animals and vast areas of open space for taking a relaxing stroll. The IMAX Riccione cinema is also located within the grounds of Oltremare.
- Imax Riccione (26.86 km) - The Imax Riccione uses the latest cinematographic technology to project you right into the heart of the on-screen action. By using surround sound and a high definition screen that is 4 times as big as a normal cinema screen, the films really come alive. On the current programme are the aeronautical Blue Planet, The Living Sea and Pulse rhythm and dance show.
- Republic of San Marino (25.78 km) - If you fancy another stamp in your passport, the Republic of San Marino will gladly oblige you for a minimal fee. The smallest country in Europe, San Marino has been independent of Italy for nearly 2000 years and is an oasis of calm just removed from the livelier resorts of Rimini and Riccione. The beautiful walled citadel is a great place to wander around and has three towers that boast fantastic views across the Adriatic Coast. Also, for a small city, San Marino has a number of interesting museums, including the San Marino State Museum and the Maranello Rosso (Ferrari) Museum.
- San Marino State Museum (26.21 km) - The excellent San Marino State Museum holds a wealth of exhibits relating to the Republic of San Marino. Archaeological finds dating from the Neolithic period to the Middle Ages are joined by paintings and sculptures from the Republic. There is also a collection of San Marino coins and medals and a donated series of Egyptian, Etruscan and Roman finds.
- Ferrari Museum - Maranello Rosso (27.05 km) - The Maranello Rosso - Ferrari Museum is a must-see for Formula One fans. Dedicated to all things Ferrari (Maranello is the Ferrari base), the museum houses 25 historical racing cars and follows the technical development of the Ferrari model. The historic 250 GTO model from 1962 in the museum is one of the top 10 most photographed attractions in Italy. There is also a section dedicated to Carlo Abarth, whose historical Scorpion motor racing cars were frequent winners of the Italian and World Championships. The Maranello Rosso Facility also boasts a conference centre and an events area where you can indulge in a buffet surrounded by Ferraris or experience the thrill of riding in a Ferrari, as a professional driver shows you what the car can do (booking essential).
- Doge's Palace, Urbino (2.07 km) - The Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale) in Urbino is a huge complex that used to be home to the Renaissance court ruled by Federico da Montefeltro.
- Raphael's House (1.78 km) - Raphael's House is a monument to Urbino's most famous son and houses many reproductions of his work.
- Rossini's House (29.5 km) - Rossiniâs House in Pesaro is now a museum dedicated to the Italian composer who lived there for some years after his birth. The museum is divided into 2 sections detailing the lives of some of the famous actors to have performed in Puccini operas and the life of Gioachino Rossini himself. On the ground floor there is a big screen playing past performances at Pesaroâs Rossini Opera Festival and during August there are also exhibitions relating to the festival.
