  • San Giovanni in Laterano (10.58 km) - The oldest church in the world, San Giovanni in Laterano is actually the cathedral of Rome. Once the main residence of the Pope, the façade is quite similar to that of Saint Peter's, the current Papal seat. Inside the cathedral, behind the altar are the heads of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The most important holy relic, the Scala Santa (Holy stairs), are also said to be the ones from Pontius Pilate's house.

  • Luneur Amusement Park (9.13 km) - Luneur is a large amusement park just outside Rome. For the bravest there are high-adrenaline rides such as Looping Star and Rotoshake, whereas the Runaway Mine Train, the Chair Ride and the Tea Cups will satisfy everyone. There is also a Horror House, fairground games with prizes and various food establishments. On special occasions e.g. Carnival, Women’s Day (8th March), the park is open longer and has special events and during the summer there is live music and entertainment.

  • Villa Aldobrandini gardens (8.84 km) - Villa Aldobrandini, set upon a hill on the outskirts of Frascati, is the most obvious monument in the famous wine-producing town. Although you cannot visit the villa, you can take a walk around the peaceful gardens, from where you have a fantastic view over Frascati and even as far as Rome on a clear day.
