- San Zanipolo (0.73 km) - Venice's huge Santi Zanipolo church contains the tombs of 25 Venetian doges. Inside Santi Zanipolo (Venetian for saints John and Paul), the most important relic is a foot of Saint Catherine of Siena and there are also works by Bellini, Lotto and Veronese. On the opposite side of the canal is one of only three gondola factories (squero) left in Venice.
