  • Pompei (16.14 km) - The sheer size of the Pompei excavations is astounding. The ancient Roman city was so quickly buried following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD that many of the buildings and mosaics remain well-preserved. You need a lot of time to see the whole site, but highlights include the Vesuvius-dominated Forum, the Amphitheatre, the House of the Faun and the beautiful frescoes at the Villa dei Misteri.

  • Teatro Tasso (1.59 km) - Sorrento’s Teatro Tasso is home to the excellent Sorrento Musical Show which details the life and traditions of the city and is based on the famous tarantella dance. The show can also be preceded by a dinner comprised of local specialities and accompanied by local musicians.

  • Sorrento Sail (1.4 km) - Sorrento Sail offer you the chance to charter a boat for trips to various destinations in the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi coast including Capri, Procida, Ischia, Positano and the Li Galli islands.

You can also book a mini-cruise to Capri, or just take one of their regular ferry services to and from various resorts along the Amalfi coast.

  • Amalfi Cathedral (17.63 km) - Attractive Amalfi Cathedral, positioned at the top of an impressive flight of steps, is home to the body of Saint Andrew. Next to the Cathedral are the beautiful cloisters and there is also an interesting museum housing relics and artefacts from the Middle Ages.
