Gasthof Sonneck is a cosy inn in the family-friendly Werfenweng ski resort, in the heart of Salzburg Province.

The Sonneck has its own outdoor swimming pool and a big terrace with the most beautiful view on the Hochkönig mountain.

It is an ideal choice for people passing through on the way south for a stopover and a good meal. Gasthof Sonneck is located just off the A10 motorway, but it cannot be seen or heard.

Activities in the surrounding area include skiing, golf, horseback riding, paragliding, swimming, Nordic walking, mountain touring and sightseeing.

The owners speak German, English and Dutch.

Each morning a wonderful breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant, getting your day's exploration of Werfenweng off to an ideal start. This excellent à la carte restaurant serves both Austrian and international cuisine. During the winter main season, your dining experience will be enhanced once a week by live Austrian music. In the period from 15 December to 15 April prices include half-board (breakfast and a 4-course dinner). Half-board, with breakfast and a 4-course dinner, is also included in the Golfer's Special in summer.
