In the middle of a green landscape and in a quiet secluded area, this family-run hotel is situated at a height of 600 metres in Hunsrück, right on the German "Edelsteinstraße" (a 70-kilometre long stretch where precious stones are manufactured and sold).

The view stretches from the highest mountain in Rhineland-Palatinate over to the Idarkopf, a mountain on the other side of the range. Destinations such as Idar-Oberstein, Bad Münster and Trier are all easily reachable from here.

Our restaurant offers dishes of game from the local woodland areas and also specialities from the Hunsrück region. Every Saturday we organise barbeques with specialities from the grill and a buffet.
