Superb traditional Savoyard Chalet-Residence constructed in wood and stone made up of 59 lodges with direct access to the pistes, situated at 1800 m altitude in the heart of the upper part of the resort.

Travel options: by air, fly to Lyon, Geneva, Chambéry or St. Etienne and transfer by bus to the resorts (journey time between 2 to 3 hours). Airlines include British Airways, bmibaby, easyjet, ryanair, flybe, Swiss and Air France; by train, travel from London to Moutiers via Paris, Lille or Brussels; by car, approximately 600 miles via Eurotunnel or ferry, take the Autoroute from Lyon to Albertville - Les Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez (42.08 km) - Les Deux Alpes is France's second oldest ski resort offering one of the largest ski areas and vertical drops to be found anywhere. Add to this a huge range of après-ski options and the lift-linked descent to La Grave, and you have a very special ski destination. This efficient and only partly purpose-built resort lies between Grenoble and Briançon, within easy reach of Alpe d'Huez in one direction and Serre Chevalier and Montgenèvre in the other.
Alpe d'Huez is perched on a plateau with one of the best sunshine records in the Alps. A modern lively resort, it has a lot to offer. The skiing is top quality, whilst on the mountain you can also enjoy snow shoe walks, paragliding skidoos and ice climbing. There is extensive off-piste skiing, the world's longest ski run at 16 km and plenty of intermediate runs with good nursery slopes.
