Situated in the Loire Valley, the hotel is set in the heart of the gardens of the Abbey of Fontevraud.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Abbey was founded in 1101 and it boasts over 900 hundred years of cultural heritage. The 52 rooms overlook the orchard or abbey, and they offer charming and comfortable accommodation, and modern and sober interior design.
In the cloister, the restaurant serves refined regional cuisine, and the bar offers cocktails by the fire. The business centre features 8 rooms with a maximum capacity of 320 people.
The restaurant, Le Cloître, serves refined and creative cuisine complemented by delicious Loire Vallée wines. There is a terrace for al-fresco dining from mid-April to the end of September. Please note that reservation is mandatory. Listed in the Champérard, GaultMillau and Bottin Gourmand guides, the restaurant is open everyday from 19:00 to 21:15 and from 12:00 to 14:00 on Sundays and public holidays. It is closed from 15 November 2008 to Easter 2009. The bar, Le Salon Saint Lazare, offers cocktails and tea in a warm atmosphere by the fire. It is open everyday from 18:00 to 23:00. It is closed from 15 November 2008 to Easter 2009.
