  • Miramare Castle (23.82 km) - The Habsburg Miramare Castle is spectacularly located on the shore of the Adriatic sea. Set in impressive grounds, the castle still retains the original 19th century furnishings. Also worthy of a visit are the stables, greenhouses and Little Castle.

  • Revoltella museum (20.95 km) - The Revoltella is Trieste's main museum and is dedicated to modern art. Italian paintings and sculpture exhibited date from the early 19th century to the 1960s. There is also an excellent view of the port of Trieste from the top of the Revoltella.

  • Surf Trieste (22.53 km) - During the summer months, Surf Trieste offer windsurfing and kitesurfing courses on the Gulf of Trieste at Barcola. You can also hire ski and snowboard equipment from the Surf Trieste shop.

  • Triestina football stadium (21.22 km) - Italian Serie B football team Triestina play at the Stadio Nereo Rocco. Matches are played almost every other weekend during the football season and the 32,000 capacity means that tickets are usually fairly easy to come across, (depending on the opponent).
