Restored under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Joachim, Kokkedal Castle is a well-preserved medieval castle with impressive views over the Liim Fiord. Kokkedal Castle was built on castle mounds that date back to the Middle Ages; sometime during the 14th century and is handy to some of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Europe.

Located in North Jutland, Kokkedal Castle still includes watchman's galleries, one meter-thick walls and a secret passage that passes under the moat and drawbridge.

All the historic guest rooms have canopy beds while the 8 fully furnished holiday apartments all have their own sun terrace and access to sauna and swimming pool during the summer. There is also an out-door tennis and badminton court.

Wine tastings are held every Saturday in the ancient wine cellar and the guests have the possibility to taste 5 selected wines from the hotel's own production and from imported sources.

All older children or adults are charged DKK 250.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
