Housed in original buildings built in 1790 the Hovborg Kro & Kursuscenter is situated in a charming village setting. The Holme River gently flows through the Inn’s garden and fir tree forest.
Renovated with care and respect for the historical nature of the buildings, the Hotel now offers a balanced combination of old world charm and modern functionality.
51 wonderful double rooms have direct access to small terraces that lead out in to the gardens and authentic cobblestone paved courtyard.
The Hovborg Inn specialises in Danish regional cuisine and offers an à la carte menu dominated by game, fish and locally sourced produce. Indeed the local river provides the opportunity for anglers to pit their wits against the plentiful supply of brown and rainbow trout. A large proportion of Hovborg’s wine is directly imported from Valpolicella, Italy.
The restaurant is located in the old main building originally from 1790 and still with a thatched roof. Remember to try the Inn’s specialty dish called Jutlandish pan dish. The restaurant opening hours are: Lunch between 11.30 and 17.00 Dinner between 17.00 and 21.00 We also have a children’s menu.
