Remember to visit the huge prehistoric tombstone just 50 metres from the hotel.
The renovated lobby has a small library, a fireplace, and has retained much of its character and charm yet incorporating many modern amenities.

The in house restaurant at The Frydendal Kro & Hotel serves both Danish and Mediterranean inspired cuisine food whilst still trying to remain a typical Danish Inn. The oldest owner dates back to 1762.
The in house restaurant serves healthy options inspired by the Mediterranean and influenced by its Danish traditions. The once liquor factory was appointed by the King in 1762 as an Inn and was one of the most important Inns and a gathering places for the entire area. A unique restaurant complete with fireplaces, antique furniture, and porcelain. Following a 5 year closure, Frydendal Kro & Hotel's restaurant reopened in 2007 with a new exciting concept. Quite simply, gourmet delicacies at reasonable prices.
