The agriturismo is located in a so-called baglio, a rural Sicilian structure consisting of buildings used for processing agricultural products, with an inner space where a main farmhouse is located.
Baglio Fontana dates back to the end of the 18th century and was totally restored and refurbished to offer relaxing stays in contact with nature, heritage and traditions. The establishment boasts spacious and cool rooms maintaining the fascination of an old-time atmosphere, and modern facilities such as a splendid swimming pool

The puppeteers are amazingly skilful at bringing alive the traditional stories of Charlemagne, usually culminating in an exciting duel! The Cuticchio Theatre was founded in 1933 and since then has continually been staging productions, both in Italy and worldwide.
- Palermo Archeological Museum (57.26 km) - The large Palermo Archaeological Museum houses a superb collection of Roman statues, funeral monuments and wall paintings discovered mainly in Sicily. Fans of archaeology and ancient history should not miss this excellent museum.
- Museo Etnografico Pitrè (55.95 km) - To really get a feel of Sicilian culture, head for the excellent Museo Etnografico Pitre', just north of Palermo. The museum is full of brightly-painted traditional Sicilian carts, hand-made puppets and various other exhibits relating to the history and popular traditions of the island.
- Palermo football stadium (56.48 km) - Italian Serie A football team Palermo play at the Stadio Renzo Barbera. Matches are played almost every other weekend during the football season and the 37,500 capacity means that you should not have too much difficulty in getting hold of a ticket (depending on the opponent).
- Monreale Cathedral (50.57 km) - The golden mosaics in Monreale Cathedral are among the finest in the world. You can climb the tower of the 12th century Cathedral (located just outside Palermo), from where the view across Palermo to the sea is stunning. Also worth a visit are the cloisters, where none of the columns is exactly identical to another. Sitting outside the Cathedral there is often a brightly-decorated, traditional Sicilian horse and cart (carretto siciliano).
- Acquapark Monreale (46.22 km) - Acquapark Monreale, just outside of Palermo, is the largest water park in Sicily. As well as having a large swimming pool, the park boasts numerous waterslides (both tame and white-knuckle), a childrenâs pool, lots of places to eat and various forms of entertainment. During the day it is a great place to cool down under the hot Sicilian sun and at night you can dance under the stars.
