Best transport links from the airport to our hotel:
Take the Athens Airport Bus E95 to Syntagma Square/Terminal, then take the trolley no. 1 or 12 to the Agiou Konstantinou station (3rd station) then walk 50 metres to Hotel Pythagorion.
Departures every 20/30 minutes. Duration of the journey: 60 minutes. Bus operates for 24 hours, on a daily basis every 1/2 hour.

Metro:
Only line 3 goes to the Omonia Station (change the metro at the Syntagma station - line 2 - for 2 stations - in the directions of Aghios Antonios) and then walk 250 metres to Hotel Pythagorion.
Departures every 1/2 hour. Duration of the journey:45 minutes. Metro rail operates on a daily basis from 06:30 to 23:00.

Advice about the ticket system for the bus and metro:
* Tickets must be bought before getting on.
* Metro: buy them in the ticket office at the station
* Bus: tickets are available in most newspapers-shops, in the white little shacks and from street vendors.

NOTE: that the ticket must be stamped in the machines as you get on the bus and just before you enter the platform area in the metro. Fares are the same for childeren age 6 and up. Childeren of 5 years or less travel for free.

By car from the airport to our hotel:
Take the Attiki Odos (highway), in the direction of Messogheion Avenue, then take the Vassilisis Sofias Avenue, towards the Syntagma Square. Next to the Parliament turn right unto Panepistimiou Street and drive straight ahead to the Omonia Square. After driving unto Agiou Konstantinou Street (2nd exit from the square), turn left at the 2nd traffic lights, then take the 1st street to the right. After 200 metres you will find Hotel Pythagorion on the right side.
