The Cecilienhof is set in a beautiful location. One could easily spend a full day walking and viewing the gardens surrounding the castle. The only drawback...you may run out of time to see all the other wonderful sites that Potsdam has to offer.
Do take advantage of at least one dinner while staying at Cecilienhof. The food was exquisite and dining on the patio next to the flower garden was like a scene from a movie.
The room encouraged us to want to get out and enjoy the gardens of Cecilienhof and the many other historical sites of Potsdam. In other words, the old squeaky floors, hard bed, and cramped bathroom are not the reasons you stay at Cecilienhof.
Also, Cecilienhof is on the list of tour stops so expect to have curious tour groups strolling passed your bedroom window each morning.Why book with Priceline
