Nice hotel, nice location

Well, given that most hotels have beds and roofs, I judge the performance of a hotel with respect to two figures of merit:
1. Is there wireless in the room?
2. Is the "do not disturb" sign respected?
Unfortunately, in both respects your hotel has failed badly: The internet was simply too weak to be detected in the rooms in the first floor.
Concerning the "do not disturb" sign, on the first day, somebody came in and did some room service, despite the sign being on. This is unacceptable. Of course, the respective person apologized. But then, the next day, I again had phone calls insisting on room service. From this I learn that this was no accident, but is general policy.
I would guess it were a good idea if you respected the wishes of your customers.
Based on that experience, I will not come back and also not recommend the hotel.

The hotel is situated in a good part of London, in a convenient location over the road from a tube station and other amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Generally ok and very convenient for the event I was attending
(97768860)

On request I asked for a quiet room, not near lifts or ice machines. This was successful and the room was quiet.

The room was very small and hot water took ages to get into the shower

Decent sized room and bathroom. Nice bed.

TV remote control did not work. Not a problem as wasn't going to watch TV but does tend to indicate that things are not checked for working order. The shower only produced a trickle and the water, on maximum setting, did not get above lukewarm. Was not informed about the building work (and resulting noise) that was being undertaken.

Clean, comfortable, central location

Toilet - the small bathroom had a toilet that was difficult to use since it was tucked into a corner under the sink.

Helpful staff, who looked after my car during check in. Some decoration was being carried out in lobby areas perhaps low odour paint could have been used.Staff experienced and attentive. Two fridges in room.

For London, a reasonably-priced hotel with good amenities for a short stay. Easy to get to by public transport and very close to several tourist attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in excellent accommodation. The bar was quiet and relaxing. The bed was as comfortable as our own in a peaceful and spacious room. Excellent value!

Friendliness and efficiency. Service minded. Good and efficient housekeeping. Closeness to substation. Lots of quick and easy cafes and grocery stores.

Smelly towels - smelled sour when towels were moistened in water. Did not like shower heads that were stationary and could not be held in hand. Do not like that water in bathroom sink must be individually adjusted. Traffic noises on main road - not enough insulation provided in windows. Our room has a second screen missing. The elevators were really slow and somedays, we spent 15 minutes waiting.

Location of the hotel

Our room was small and cramped. Horrible mould stain on the carpet outside of the bathroom. We stayed there with another couple who had the same type of room but there was bigger and cleaner.

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Reasonably priced (because we booked in advance online). The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great location for our purposes (going to gig at Albert Hall). We would stay there again.

The most comfortable bed ever!

Finding a half used bottle of body moisteriser in the bathroom! These should surely be changed between guests.

Good location to the Royal Albert Hall and the special price for the room was Good. The evening meal in the restaurant and service was very nice and a good price of ten pounds for half a bottle of white wine.

The room was quite large by London Standards and was spotlessly clean. The common areas were very pleasant to enjoy a drink in. We were most impressed by the courtesy of the staff who were by far the friendliest we have ever encountered in a hotel.

Can't think of anything.

The bed was large & comfy and, for central London, the room was nice & quiet.

Expensive coffee; awful lumpy rubbery pillows; muddled check-in; very narrow bathroom.

The overall stay was good as i only wanted a room for the night close to a tube in a good area. The room itself was very small, although this didn't matter to me as i was on my own for 1 night, if i had been with my wife for 2+ nights it would of been uncomfortable. It was perfect for what i wanted for the price therefore i would choose this hotel as my first port of call if i needed to stay in the city again on business.
(2999055)

The Hotel was in a good area close to the tube. Good value for money, easy to book and overall very convenient, which is what i was after

The checking in process was a little confusing as i initially wanted to pay by switch but they insisted on a £50 deposit, which i felt was unnecessary. The directions to my room were poor as i ended up walking around the hotel for 10 minutes until i worked out where the room was.

Would liked to have known about parking costs - would not have stayed given it was 35 GBP for parking per night. Not clean enough.

Price of parking very overpriced, but valet service good.
3 Small cockroaches in the bathroom, unimpressed to say the least.
Doors, frames and a bathroom looking tired and not clean enough

It was a shame that we could only book RO and not B&B. The price of breakfast was not available until we went in for breakfast. At time of booking asked for non-smoking and this was asked at check-in, very good, got a non-smoking room. Was not made aware that there was a noisy flue outside the window. It is in a good central location.

location

bedroom and bathroom on the small size, noisy flue outside bedroom window had to shut the window which was a bit difficult.

The restaurant and meal were excellent. Apart from this highlight the standard was far from my usual normal positive experiences of past stays in Raddisson Edwardian hotels.

The general decor and an excellent meal in the restaurant.

The room was very small and cold and some essential parts of the bathroom were not usable at a normal standard because of cramped conditions.

A nice hotel, with a nice fireplace and bar. We enjoyed our stay and will return again in the future.

Close proximity to Tube station. Hotel also situated in nice and plesant neighbourhood, clos to South Kensington.
Hotel is generally clean and pleasant, although the rooms are somewhat old and abit wornout. Otherwise, its a pleasant experience.

Our room's heating wasn't working on the first night, and it was like 2deg for the weekend, so we didn't sleep very well. It was fixed the day after, when the hotel
brought a heater to our room.
