Overall impression was of a peaceful, friendly, clean hotel. Lovely clean cotton sheets and pillowcases. Hotel in quiet position.Felt secure.

Although our room was in the basement, it was not musty or damp.However, the carpet and the futon bed (meant for a third person) was very marked and grubby looking which was a shame given the hotels other qualities.

Good location close to the tube but tucked away around the corner from the noisy Earls Court Road. Also close to many pubs, restaurants, shops etc. Staff friendly and helpful - I was able to check in early when I arrived at mid-day. Breakfast room is clean and bright (in the conservatory). Only small complaint was that TV remote didn't work - no big problem as TV was at the foot of the bed. (97529178)

I dont recall there being any mention of the in-room tea/coffee making facilites - although these were provided. Similarly the TV was complimented by a hi-fi system - again, no mention of this - these could perhaps been deliberate ommisions to make the room even better when you stepped into it. The view from the front of the hotel was luciously gree, overlooking a gated common garden area, shared by all the other building facing that way. This was a pleasant view to start your day off with as you departed from the front steps of the hotel. (99384820)

A more personal lived in look to the room, with good and original decor, rather than the hospital type look of the usual motel-style travel lodges, Hiltons etc.

Location is excellent - only a 2 min walk to the tube and bus (both of which go directly to Victoria station). Interior decoration is very nice, gives the place a charming feel, espeically the breakfast room. Definitely a B&B that I would recommend anyone to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. (99328210)

Shower water pressure was not very good, but still acceptable. Bedrooms are very tiny, but I guess that's just London.

This hotel is excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again. Staff are welcoming, polite and friendly, and the rooms are well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The website pictures make the hotel look a lot more twee and chintzy than it really is! Modern touches such as easily controlled air-con and a really good shower room were most welcome. The hotel is on a quiet, leafy square but less than 1 minute from the bustle of Earl's Court Road, making this hotel an excellent choice for visiting Central or West London. (99060255)

Conveniently located for our purpose

Exceptionally small room, no bath and a very lumpy and uncomfortable bed.

There was no car parking and a lack of information from staff as to suggested places to park, breakfast was basic to say the least the cheapest of museli, coco pops served, not very inspiring at all. Switch on shower was broken cutting our fingers to bits when we used it, handwash basin was cracked. cartons of milk left on the floor the second day by the staff doing room cleaning. Not a place I would recomend anyone to stay at. (99628387)

Not much to add to the statements I have already made, once again the staff were most helpful and friendly, hotel clean and tidy but perhaps getting to the stage of needing a bit of redecoration. Continental breakfast is fine but English breakfast not so great, had we known that it was not a full english we probably would not have bothered and stuck to the free continental. (99302295)

The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff were all very helpful allowing us to leave our luggage in the reception area on arrival and departure in order to allow us to make the most of both days.

The room whilst clean and tidy is a bit on the small side and the english breakfast was dissapointing, we were expecting to at least get the full breakfast not just bacon egg and beans.

Room was small, although it did state that in the details when we booked the hotel. Although sheets were clean, the blanket and bed spread were grubby. The room had not been dusted for some time.

Unfriendly unsmiling dining room assistant at breakfast. Early finishing of the breakfast - 9 a.m. We hadn't realised this and arrived just after. Not quite enough bedclothes - had to forage for another pillow and blanket each. Shower delivered a stream of water like a tap, but temperature fine.

A super quiet location literally 2 mins away from Earls Court Tube station. We had ensuite facilities and lots of fluffy white towels were provided. There was a hair dryer but not shower jel or shampoo. We had a modern flat screen remote controlled TV. All the comforts of a good hotel. Charming staff. On offer at an additional charge was a cooked breakfast but the continental breakfast was more than adequate. We considered the hotel to be very good value for money. (3305480880)

It is difficult to find a decent hotel in London on a budget, and this hotel was excellent. Good location, good price, very nice room (much nicer than I have experienced in similar hotels), very usefully had a lift also
