This guesthouse lies on the outskirts of the Hohes Venn (or "High Fens") in the Eifel National Park, directly at the new Eifelsteig and just 3 kilometres from the centre of Monschau.

It is the ideal base for long hikes through the fens, for cross-country skiing (tracks begin 200 metres away), for cycle trips and horse-drawn carriage rides.
