This family-run hotel is situated in the middle of the spa centre in the hiking and well-being resort of Bad Harzburg. Only a few minutes walk away are the spa gardens, the town hall, the salt baths, an outdoor pool and a high ropes adventure course.

Our guests can enjoy free daily entrance (2.5 hrs) to the nearby Harzburg salt baths with natural saltwater pools (indoor and outdoor), a whirlpool, and for an extra cost there are various saunas, beauty treatments, and massages to try out.

Relax and get away from it all, experience the beautiful nature of the Harz National Park via its pretty hiking trails starting right near the hotel and indulge in our wonderful cuisine.

Treat yourselves to our creative cuisine, fresh from the market. We serve game specialities from local shoots, sophisticated fish dishes, all different kinds of steaks as well as a special "Salt Menu" featuring original Harz saltwater. Enjoy our cuisine daily from 12:00 - 14.00 and from 18:00 - 21:30.

We also have a snack menu including meals such as Harz sausage specialities served on rustic wooden boards.

In our Panorama Cafe with a view of the castle on the mountain you can sit back and relax and indulge in good quality coffee and delicious, home-made cakes, strudels and ice creams. Take in the view of the mountain train or peruse some of our newspapers and magazines on offer.

Child Policy:

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 21.50 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
